How is my Discount Bonus utilised on Dream11?

You heard it right! Now, you get to use your Discount Bonus to pay ₹25 or 10% (whichever is higher) of the total entry, i.e. the total amount you pay to join contests in a match. Why this change was important? This way, you get the maximum benefit out of your Discount Bonus balance.


Let’s take two examples:
 

E.g., 1:  You join 1 contest for NZ vs WI. 

Since 10% of the match entry amount is less than ₹25 of your Discount Bonus balance, the amount of Discount Bonus used in this case is ₹25

E.g., 2: You join 2 contests for IND vs AUS.

Note that you didn’t have any Discount Bonus while joining the first contest. Therefore, 10% of the total match entry amount (₹350) can be from your Discount Bonus in the account as it's greater than ₹25. Hence, the total Discount Bonus used here for both contests combined is ₹35.

• Discount Bonus is used only to join public contests
• You can use a Discount Bonus to join cash contests only if you've deposited cash in your Dream11 account.
